This is our 25th year in business.
This has not been an easy year with all of the changes going on. Errors in shipments and lost shipments along with ever rising costs. QKits needs more regular business customers, to that end we will start to offer assembly, small jobs at first. We have a Samsung CP45 Pick n Place machine and a Lead-free selective solder system, all of which will allow us to provide repeatable results. Contact us if you're a small company and do not want to send your assembly to another country or are tired of mistakes and long shipping times. We can hold your PCBs and specific parts for when you need a batch run. Currently our oven is not a nitrogen enviroment, but the boards spend little time exposed to the enviroment and this has worked out well for us in the past. The selective lead-free does use nitrogen and this helps us keep waste to a minmum and extends the life of the equipment, which reults in controlled costs.
We will contiinue to offer modules, however, we will try to offer more assembled IN CANADA, if possible. We live in an expensive part of the world and people just expect lower prices so we will see if this works.
We will continue to provide our current customers with custom assembled product that has been designed for them. Custom solutions can usually save time, which saves money.
Qkits is also an authorized Apex Tool Group dealer, specializing in Weller soldering irons and systems as well as parts and tips.
Hammond enclosures are a perfect way to enclose your new project and keep it safe from that odd metal item that could end up on your PCB and cause you untold amounts of grief. This usually happens when you want to show your project off or turn it in at school to be graded.
Need solder or supplies from conformal coating to keep moisture out or spray on EMI shielding we have it. Also liquid flux, paste flux plus advanced epoxies, including conductive epoxy, all from MG Chemicals.
If you are looking for a way to build your inventions and do not have time to research, design, proto type, debug, deglitch, rebuild, and source parts; we are the answer! We add new kits regularly, all using some new and some proven technology, trying to give you a mix of building blocks that can be used together or alone to provide solutions to your demanding applications.
Typical proven building blocks would be amplifier kits, 1 A, 3 A and 5 A DC power supply modules, as well as benchtop power supplies with extremely with stable regulation. More advanced projects include I/O boards for your P.C, Serial, & Parallel types. We are also an Authentic Arduino distrbutor, plus we have lots of clone items for people on a budget. We also offer Banana Pi', Raspberry Pi and cobblers as well as housings and other hardware, Raspberry Pis are kept in stock for local customers.

Shipping your order is the most important part of our day, all in stock products will be shipped same day if ordered before 3:00 pm and not on a holiday or weekend.
Stop in and visit us, were open from 10:00 AM til 5:00 PM Monday to Friday with lots of FREE parking. We do specialize in mail order and have a wide variety of options for you, UPS and Canada Post are the most common methods.
